Dr. Kaliprasad Pappu
Chairman & Co-Founder
Dr. Kaliprasad Pappu is a public health leader with three decades of experience working with UN agencies, World Bank, International and Indian NGOs. A Gates Fellow at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Dr. Pappu, in the recent past, used to lead the Government of India-Norwegian partnership flagship project (NIPI) on newborn health.
Laboni Jana
CEO & Co-Founder
Laboni Jana, a Wellcome Fellow trained at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, has over two decades of experience in the development sector. Prior to co-founding YouthInvest, Laboni served as the India Country Director of IntraHealth International. A passionate advocate for youth rights, Laboni started her career at the Child In Need Institute where she used to lead its maternal, child and adolescent health portfolio.
Naveen Devnani
CFO & Co-Founder
Naveen Devnani is a senior finance and operations expert with extensive experience in finance, grants management, administration, procurement, contracting and human resource with reputed Indian and international not-for-profit organizations. An MBA from IMT, Ghaziabad, Naveen currently serves as the Chief Finance Officer at the Aga Khan Agency for Habitat India.
Sayan Ghosh
Programme Manager, West Bengal
Sayan Ghosh is a project management specialist with 22 years of experience in child, adolescent, and young people’s nutrition, reproductive and sexual health, and prevention of human trafficking. Trained in Social Anthropology, Sayan has worked in several Indian states – West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands - in close collaboration with governments. Sayan currently leads YouthInvest's programme in West Bengal.
Surajit Roy Chowdhury
Manager - Finance & Admin
Surajit Roy Chowdhury has more than 20 years of experience in Finance, Admin, Procurement and HR. Before joining YouthInvest, he had worked with CINI, SRD Programme implemented by P & RD Department Govt of West Bengal, ISGP Programme funded by World Bank implemented by P & R D Department Govt of West Bengal, Project Axshya funded by Global Fund implemented by German Leprosy and TB Relief Association – India.
Aditi Roy Majumder
Theme Leader (Nutrition) & Programme Manager, Assam
Aditi Roy Majumder has more than 25 years of experience working in the “Health and Nutrition” domain. Before joining YouthInvest, Aditi had worked with UNICEF, West Bengal & WHO, State Maternal & Child Survival Cell, under the Directorate of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of Orissa & UNICEF collaboration and CINI.
Atanu Acharya
Manager - Training, M&E, Documentation
Atanu Acharya has more than 13 years of experience in research, baseline, impact assessment and project evaluation. Before joining YouthInvest, he worked with DFID, the Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi School of Economics, Institute of Social Sciences and NABARD. His areas of research and evaluation include – maternal and child health & nutrition, child rights, WASH, tribal issues, and local governance.
Tanwi Chakraborty
District Coordinator
Tanwi Chakraborty has 6 years of experience in Maternal and Child Health, Child Nutrition and Adolescent Health and Hygiene. Prior to joining YouthInvest Foundation, Tanwi had worked with Cultural Research Institute (Backward Classes Development dept. and Tribal Development dept., Govt. of West Bengal) and Child In Need Institute. Tanwi currently leads the implementation of YouthInvest's programme in Howrah district, West Bengal.
Arindam Chakraborty
District Coordinator
Arindam Chakraborty is a project management specialist with 21 years of experience in the thematic areas of maternal and child, adolescent reproductive sexual health, TB Control Program, HIV, and prevention of human trafficking issues. Before joining YouthInvest, Arindam had worked in Care India, German Leprosy and TB Relief association and Bhoruka Public welfare trust. Arindam currently leads the implementation of YouthInvest's programme in Hooghly district, West Bengal.
Uday Kumar
Field Coordinator
Uday Kumar is an educationist and experienced teacher with a passion for reaching out to underprivileged children and adolescents. With an MSc. and BEd, Uday has 12 years of experience in teaching high school students from rural and semi-urban areas. Uday currently manages YouthInvest's Sambhavana Learning Centres in Jharkhand.
Shilpi Singh
Senior Learning Instructor
Shilpi Singh has been with YouthInvest's Jharkhand programme for more than 5 years and is a passionate advocate of girls' education. Shilpi has 9 years of experience in teaching middle and senior classes and believes learning has no boundaries and should not be confined to classrooms.
Sudipta Mondal
Field Coordinator
Sudipta Mondal has more than 8 years of experience in the field of development. Prior to joining YouthInvest Foundation, Sudipta had worked with Pratham Education, Hope Kolkata Foundation, and CINI. With a passion for youth development and education, Sudipta currently manages YouthInvest's adolescent and youth programme in Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal.
Nabanita Das trained in Development Studies and has an overall experience of 2 years as a District Coordinator and Consultant. Before joining YouthInvest, she had worked with Samagra Siksha, the Government of Telangana, and the American India Foundation. Currently, she supports in coordination and documentation of YouthInvest's Education and Digital Literacy Programme.
Raju Dubey is based in YouthInvest's Head Office in NCR and has an overall experience of 5 years in the field. He has completed his Bachelor's degree in Commerce and is presently pursuing his CA.
