Dr. Kaliprasad Pappu is a public health leader with three decades of experience working with UN agencies, World Bank, International and Indian NGOs. A Gates Fellow at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Dr. Pappu, in the recent past, used to lead the Government of India-Norwegian partnership flagship project (NIPI) on newborn health.
Laboni Jana, a Wellcome Fellow trained at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, has over two decades of experience in the development sector. Prior to co-founding YouthInvest, Laboni served as the India Country Director of IntraHealth International. A passionate advocate for youth rights, Laboni started her career at the Child In Need Institute where she used to lead its maternal, child and adolescent health portfolio.
Naveen Devnani is a senior finance and operations expert with extensive experience in finance, grants management, administration, procurement, contracting and human resource with reputed Indian and international not-for-profit organizations. An MBA from IMT, Ghaziabad, Naveen currently serves as the Chief Finance Officer at the Aga Khan Agency for Habitat India.
Sayan Ghosh is a project management specialist with 22 years of experience in child, adolescent, and young people’s nutrition, reproductive and sexual health, and prevention of human trafficking, With a background in Social Anthropology, Sayan has worked in several Indian states – West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands - in close collaboration with governments. He is interested in the inclusion of the left out and marginalized community, participatory project review, and community mobilization.
Tanwi Chakraborty has 6 years of experience in Maternal and Child Health, Child Nutrition and Adolescent Health and Hygiene. Prior to joining YouthInvest Foundation, Tanwi had worked with Cultural Research Institute (Backward Classes Development dept. and Tribal Development dept., Govt. of West Bengal) and Child In Need Institute among others.
Atanu Acharya has more than 13 years of experience in research, baseline, impact assessment and project evaluation. Before joining YouthInvest, he worked with DFID, the Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi School of Economics, Institute of Social Sciences and NABARD. His areas of research and evaluation include – maternal and child health & nutrition, child rights, WASH, tribal issues, and local governance.
Surajit Roy Chowdhury has more than 20 years of experience in Finance, Admin, Procurement and HR. Before joining YouthInvest, he worked with Child In Need Institute, SRD Programme implemented by P & RD Department Govt of West Bengal, ISGP Programme funded by World Bank implemented by P & R D Department Govt of West Bengal, Project Axshya funded by Global Fund implemented by German Leprosy and TB Relief Association – India.
